An "Aria" is a beautiful operatic song sung by a woman alone. That's how my daughter named my business years ago, after growing up thinking her mom grew cameras on the ends of her hands. I have sung my song for years. The melody, to me, is sometimes lavish, sometimes melancholy.... but always in tune with the moment.

Whether it is photography for weddings, or commercial photography..... or even motion video, it's the art of image creation that appeals to me. Lighting, composition, getting it just right. When it all comes together, it is music to me.

Debra Hartley Johnson is an award winning Producer / Director / Camera Operator / Editor who has done projects for Disney, Universal Studios, NASA, Sea World and others. The joke is "don't work with kids or shoot in theme parks" and she's done both quite a lot.
